About me

Welcome! My name is Mekayla (she/her/hers) and I am a queer, neurodivergent therapist with a passion for helping others sort through the messy parts of life. I am a firm believer in the healing power of connection with ourselves, nature, and one another. I aim to create a space to nurture all of these connections in a world where connection is becoming more and more rare. I use an eclectic, client-centered approach to prioritize client autonomy. I often utilize EMDR, Narrative Therapy, CBT, Feminist Therapy, Somatic Experiencing and Solution-Focused Therapy. I specialize in working with trauma, neurodivergence, depression, anxiety and the LGBTQ+ community.

Outside of sessions I am an avid crafter, lover of music and a root beer connoisseur.
