My Approach

Hello!

Are you feeling overwhelmed? Stuck in patterns you know don’t serve you and struggling to take that first step? Maybe you have been told you are “self aware,” but that hasn’t seemed to ease the fear of change. Maybe daily reminders of the past are keeping you from living in the present. Maybe everyone is counting on you, and you need a space to set down their needs and be with your own. Maybe you’re finding it difficult to rely on others after years of hurt. I love to work with survivors, overthinkers, overfeelers, the LGBTQ+ community, and anyone who has always felt a little “different” than others.

I use an integrated approach to foster confidence, autonomy and healing in my relationships with clients. I often utilize solution-focused narrative therapy, CPT, attachment theory and EMDR. I have a pragmatic, affirming and gently challenging approach. I am a neurodivergent and queer identified therapist. I am LGBTQ+ affirming.

Everyone deserves a place to exhale. In my office I strive to nurture an environment where you can bring your entire self without fear of judgement. In a world where disconnection is the norm, it can be difficult to see a path forward- you don’t have to do it alone. It would be an honor to walk alongside you on your journey!
